Anonymous: Esther /Rebeka toturing Caroline and Klaus coming to the rescue.
Caroline opened her eyes slowly and saw a room that looked eerily similar to another room that didn’t exactly bring back good memories. When she saw her ring missing and her hands chained cuffed tightly to the chair she was sitting in she realized it was the same room.
Her breathing grew erratic with every flashback of her father pulling the rusty chain that opened the large shutters above her. “Hello?” She called nervously and her eyes widened when she saw Rebekah step out of a dark corner. “Rebekah?” Caroline knew Rebekah hated her, but she didn’t figure she would result to this.
“Hello Caroline.” She smiled sweetly. “You are mistaken though, it’s Esther not Rebekah.”
Caroline’s eyes widened. “What? Why am I here?” She said the last part in a demanding tone, pulling relentlessly at her restraints.
“You are wasting your time with those.” Esther said, touching the manacles lightly. “To answer your question, my son Niklaus seems to have taken an interest in you. I figure this is a simple enough way to get his attention.”
Caroline was having trouble holding back her tears at this point. Once again she was being used, tortured just to get to someone else. She imagined it wouldn’t be quite as bad if she were being tortured for something she had done.
She had tried so hard to always do the right thing even as a vampire she has only killed once, on accident. Somehow she is always the one who ends up getting tortured, not the ones who have killed hundreds and continue to kill more today.
Her mind couldn’t help but wonder, if her own father could do what he did to her how much more could Esther do? Esther who cared so much less and probably hated vampires so much more.
“Well let’s begin than shall we?” She didn’t look up when she heard Esther’s voice instead concentrating on handling the pain when it came.
The sound of the old rusty shutters opening resonated throughout the room, and it took all the will power she had to keep herself from screaming. Though a small whimper escaped her lips as she felt the sunlight burn into her skin.
With a mom like this and his dad being the way he was it was no wonder Klaus turned out the way he did. She couldn’t say she didn’t feel a tiny bit of sympathy toward him.
She let out a sigh of relief when the shutters closed again, she was a little afraid that Esther was just going to kill her. A little part of her kinda wished she would, too many times has she been tortured and escaped in one way or another, the odds of her being rescued again were not in her favor.
———
It had been hours and Caroline now really wished she had just killed her at the beginning. It was worse than the time with her father because she didn’t only use the sun.
Once in a while she felt a stabbing pain, and it took her hours to make it through the groggy feeling of agony to see that the searing pain was a vervain soaked stake.
Right as Esther was about to pull the shades again there was a loud noise and then the door flew open. “Caroline!” She could barely hear the voice, and his being was just a blur.
He seemed so far away, but she knew who it was and for some odd reason she felt the need to warn him. She was finally able to find her voice, even if it did come out as just a whisper. “Klaus, it’s a trap.” That was the last thing she said before losing consciousness completely.
———
She shot up with quickened breaths and touched all her appendages to be sure they were still there before looking to see where she was. No longer was she in a small dark cellar shackled to a chair, but in a dark blue room on a bed.
Even though at that exact moment she wanted nothing more than to curl up on the bed and go to sleep, she could not relax quite yet. For all she knew this was a trap, or a dream.
Tip toeing off the bed she made her way to the door flinching with each step or even movement. She had never been more sore in her life.
“Don’t I even get a thank you?” She whipped around and jumped backwards throwing her self into the wall at the sound of the voice. Klaus’ face seemed concerned at her reaction.
Then she was trying to remember if she should trust him or not. Something was telling her she should. His face softened a considerable amount as he took a cautious step towards her, outstretching his hand as if he was approaching an easily frightened animal. “I’m not going to hurt you.” He told her in what seemed like a sincere voice.
Surprising him, and herself, she threw her arms around his neck and began to sob into his shoulder, ignoring how her body ached in protest at the sudden movement. “Thank you.” She whispered into his ear.
He stood there frozen in shock for just a second before wrapping his arms around her. “Anytime.” He whispered back before placing a kiss on her forehead.

Anonymous:Tyler breaks up with Caroline at the decade dance, she ends up getting drunk and seeks comfort in the arms of Klaus.
“Damon, please tell me you brought some sort of alcohol.” She had already drank all that she had brought and she definitely needed more, tonight was not her night.
He raised an eyebrow and gave the usually cheerful blonde a questioning look.
“Tyler broke up with me.” Caroline sighed.
He noded knowingly before pulling a small silver flask from his pocket offering it to her. She almost ripped it from his hands. “So why this time?” He asked leaning on the wall next to her.
She rolled her eyes. “He thinks there is something going on with me and Klaus.”
“Speak of the devil.” Damon said pointing to the original hybrid making his way over to them. “I’m gonna make my way over to the punch, play nice now.” Damon said with a wink.
Klaus continued to smile as he approaches her even though he can see the obvious grimace on her face. “What the hell do you want?” She asked but before he could answer continued into the rant she had been writing in her head all night.
“You stupid jerk, you couldn’t just leave me alone!” She emphasized every word flailing her hands around in the air. “Not only did you sire my boyfriend, but now you completely ruined my relationship. I hate you, you stupid…” She couldn’t find a word for what he was, and she doubted there was a name bad enough to sum up how much she hated him.
He was just staring at her like, well she was sure he was just staring at her like she was crazy. When he realized she was done speaking he took the flask from her. “You, are drunk.”
“Give that back!” She complained trying to reach the flask that he was now holding behind his back. After a couple seconds she huffed and crossed her arms over her chest and pouted. “Fine whatever, keep it, just leave me alone.”
She went for the door, but he grabbed her arm and gently pulled her back. “One dance?” He asked with puppy dog eyes.
Caroline looked across the room to see Tyler talking to some random girl. Without a word she grabbed Klaus’ hand and led him out to the dance floor. “So you and the mutt broke up?” He asked and she glared up at him.
“Yes, because he is sure there is something going on with me and you.” She scoffed. “Which is ridiculous.” She couldn’t be sure through the drunken haze but she could have sworn she saw a flash of hurt on his face.
“Well, he is a fool to let you go.” He told her as he twirled her around of course she being the clumsy Caroline she is almost fell over.
Her eyelids became heavy as the song suddenly got slower. She wrapped her arms tighter around Klaus’ neck and leaned her head on his shoulder closing her eyes as she mostly swayed with Klaus to the music. She blamed alcohol, sleep deprivation and the loss of her boyfriend for the position she was in now.
Neither of them said anything as the next song started and they continued to sway. Even though she had only said one dance she was too tired and his shoulder was very comfortable.
“I can take you home if you’d like.” He whispered in her ear.
She nodded as she pulled slightly away from him. He smiled and wrapped his arm around her waist to keep her from falling as he led her out the door.
Caroline didn’t even notice Tyler on her way out the door since her head was still resting on Klaus’ shoulder her eyes barely open. Klaus did though and couldn’t resist smirking and raising his eyebrows as if to say ‘you messed up.’

Anonymous:Love reading your drabbles, can you do a drabble where the whole scooby gang is in a room with Klaus, and they attempt to kill Klaus, but Caroline saves him because she feels for him?
“Caroline!” Damon shouted furiously. “What the hell?”
She stood her eyes wide, as if she wasn’t even completely sure what she had just done. “I-I-” She stuttered not really sure what to say. Her blonde hair fell in her face as she looked to the floor at the big black mark where the stake used to be, before Caroline had set it ablaze.
Klaus was looking at her as expectantly as the rest of the group wondering why she would save him. The young vampires eyes darted around the room as she looked at the awe struck faces of all her friends, Elena looked confused, Damon angry, as always, Klaus seemed just as confused as Elena, and Stefan was unconscious due to the fact that Caroline had to knock him out to get the stake from him in the first place.
She saved the worst for last Bonnie looked betrayed, and it Caroline hated it, but she couldn’t just let Klaus die, after all he could have let her die. Instead he told her she had something to live for, and for that she was grateful. She owed him, and that’s what she told herself to explain what she had just done. Though the back of her mind rolled it’s eyes at her and said, yeah right you liar!
“I had to.” She finally made the words come out and Damon scoffed.
“Really? You had to? Please enlighten us on why you had to! I knew you were just going to mess everything up with your stupid neurotic crazy crap. I should have staked you when I had the chance.” He hissed.
Caroline cringed a little at the harsh words, remembering the night Damon had tried to stake her, the loud growl that erupted through the room snapped her out of it though. She turned to see that well she was zoned out for those ten seconds, Klaus had thrown Damon into the wall. Damon groaned as he got back to his feet grabbing his neck, which the wall had obviously had a bad affect on.
He snarled at the hybrid, whose eyes had changed from their usual blue to a sickeningly dark color that made Caroline want out of that room before limbs started flying. Instead she took a deep breath and stepped in between them. “Stop!” She shouted looking back and forth between Damon and Klaus.
Klaus suddenly straightened up though he kept his eyes locked on Damon with a icy glare. Caroline looked back at Damon, who was returning Klaus’ glower. “I did it because I owed him this. He saved my life so I saved his.” She said calmly, and confidently, even though in her mind she just wanted to run out of that room and never come back.
Klaus finally took his eyes off of Damon to smile at Caroline. “Really?” He said with a cocky smirk. “That’s the only reason, it’s not ‘cause you like me?” He said in a childish tone.
Caroline raised her eyebrows. “What are you five?” she asked, but looked away nervously.
Klaus’ smirk grew bigger.
Suddenly Bonnie and Elena spoke up for the first time. “Caroline, what the hell is going on?” They asked simultaneously.
Caroline honestly didn’t know.

Anonymous: Klaroline’s first kiss. They’re not together but Caroline dosen’t take herself back.
Caroline sat at the grill with Elena Damon and Matt. They were having a conversation about there next plan to destroy evil, or something. She had stopped listening a long time ago. “Caroline!” Elena screeched.
“What?” She looked over at Elena completely discombobulated.
“I said Klaus is here, and he’s staring at you- oh now he’s waving.” She rolled her eyes.
Damon laughed. “Aww, isn’t that sweet you have a stalker.”
“Damon,” Matt warned, but then continued. “I think they prefer admirer.”
Elena punched Damon’s arm making him laugh more. “Don’t be mean!” She scolded.
Damon laughed as Caroline glared. “I’m going to go talk to him.” She said standing up.
“Sounds like a great plan blondie.” Damon laughed.
Caroline rolled her eyes and making a face and muttering ‘whatever’ under her breath as she walked away.
Klaus stood there a wide grin plastered on his face. She set her face in a scowl before approaching him. “Klaus, you need to stop.” She stated plainly, and could feel the eyes of her ‘friends’ on her back.
He leaned forward and chuckled lightly. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Caroline’s eyes narrowed. “You know exactly what I am talking about. You need to stop with the jewelry, and the drawings, and the stares!” She almost yelled waving her hands around, seeming to attract some attention.
He suppressed a laugh at her rant. “Caroline, maybe you want to continue this conversation somewhere less occupied?”
Caroline scoffed. “There is nothing to continue! I said what I needed to say, now this is the part where you promise to stop!”
He smiled and grabbed her arm pulling her towards the emergency exit. Caroline turned back to her friends for help, but apparently they only liked to notice her when she didn’t want them to.
She was pulled into an empty alley behind the grill. She ripped her arm from his grip. “Leave me alone!” She said as she went for the door, only to be pulled back and pinned against the wall.
She tensed and he smirked. “Are you afraid of me?” He asked tauntingly.
“No.” She said though her voice was trembling.
“I’m not gonna hurt you.” He said simply releasing her arms. “I’m just not going to leave until you here me out.” He raised his arms up in surrender. “Just listen to what I have to say.”
She frowned thinking about going for the door again but knowing she wouldn’t make it before he could block her. She sighed. “Fine what do you want to tell me?”
He smiled widely, and suddenly his lips her on hers, one hand around her waist the other grabbing her hair and keeping her lips on his.
It took her a second to realize what was going on. Surprising him, and her, she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back fiercely. She wound a hand through his hair and he placed both of his hands securely on her hips.
It seemed like an eternity before Klaus pulled back, that stupid smirk on his face. “Do you really want me to stop?” He asked pushing her towards the wall.
She shook her head, unable to speak at the moment. He flashed a toothy grin before placing his lips back on hers.

Anonymous: Klaus saying I love you to Caroline for the first time. But not dating or anything… Good luck. P.s You are awesome ;) ;) …Awww! Thank you! You’re awesome! :)
Caroline jumped when she turned around and saw him sitting there on her bed. “Klaus!” She shrieked. “What are you doing here?!”
He looked to the ceiling thoughtfully before answering. “I’m not sure actually.” He said.
“Well would you mind leaving?” She said as calmly as she could.
He swung his legs over the side of her bed and was in front of her in one swift movement. Caroline’s reflexes kicked in and she jumped back from the sudden movement practically throwing herself into her dresser.
Klaus just chuckled. “Do you really want me to leave?” He asked and pretended to pout.
“Yes.” She said trying to keep the fear she was feeling from her voice and expression. “Oh, and the pouting is very unattractive on you.”
He feigned a hurt putting his hand to his chest. “Now that’s just ridiculous.” He said leaning forward and taking a step toward her, smirking.
Caroline rolled her eyes and tried to walk away before he could get any closer and corner her, but she was to late. When she tried to walk away Klaus placed his hands on the wall on either side of her.
“What do you want?” She asked through gritted teeth.
Suddenly his eyes softened and his smirk disappeared replaced by a solemn expression. “I love you.” He said softly.
Caroline gasped. “W-what?” Was all she could say.
“You heard me.” His expression hardened and he decided to go before he embarrassed himself anymore. When he turned to leave though, Caroline grabbed his arm.
“Wait.” Was all she was able to force herself to say. She was completely speechless. Klaus, the big bad hybrid, Klaus the original vampire, Klaus the one thousand year old man, loved her? Caroline Forbes? The seventeen year old baby vamp? It didn’t make sense.
He turned to look at her expectantly and when she said nothing tore his arm from her grasp and he continued out the door, feeling foolish.

Anonymous: Klaus visits the funeral of Carolines dad?
I leaned against the tree outside. I just couldn’t stand all the pity in there. My dad died yes, but the last thing I want is pity, mostly I just want to be alone. I sighed when I heard footsteps behind me. Probably another person coming to see if I’m okay.
I turned around. “I’m fi-” I stopped short when I saw it was Klaus standing there. His usual arrogant smirk missing. “What are you doing here?” I hissed. He didn’t have the right to come crash my fathers funeral.
“I just came to tell you, I’m sorry.” He spoke sincerely. I was taken aback by his words. Did he just apologize to me? I never expected the almighty original hybrid to apologize to anyone.
“For what?” There were a million things he should be sorry for but I doubt he is.
“Your loss.” I rolled my eyes, I hated those words so much. ‘I’m sorry for your loss’ was all I heard all day.
“Well it’s not like you killed him. Wait, I take that back for all I know you might have killed him.”
He sighed and put his head down so his eyes met mine. “I didn’t.” was all he said to me. Which I already knew. Alaric did…or Elena’s great great grandma or something.
“Well you said it, now can you leave me alone?” I said turning back around so my back was to him.
Then he said something that no one else had said to me, everyone else just kept saying it was going to be ok, or I will be fine, he was the only one who told me I might not be. “Caroline, don’t let it get you. You don’t want to end up like me.” He laughed softly trying to lighten the mood probably.
I didn’t turn around as his words sunk in. I kept forgetting that he wasn’t always a psychopathic murderer. At one time he was just a kid who wanted his father to accept him, like I did. I took a deep breath and turned around but when I did he was already gone.
