Anonymous:Can you continue the drabble Payback? I really love that one! :D
Caroline laid on the bed on her stomach, her feet dangling in the air as she read. She heard the door to the bedroom open and close, but she chose to ignore it. Honestly she was still rather angry at Klaus for ditching her yesterday. Suddenly he was right next to her pulling the book from her view. She looked up at him with a questioning gaze. “Can I help you?” She asked sarcastically, grabbing for her book.
He pulled it further out of reach getting a glare from her. “Actually you can.” He whispered before pressing his lips to hers. Before she knew it he had her flipped onto her back. He growled into the curve of her neck and she moaned as he kissed down her throat. Suddenly she pushed him off though. He groaned. “What now?”
“Hmmm, I don’t know maybe you could make up for that date that you yesterday.” She said standing up from the bed. He covered his face with his hands and made a disgruntled sound.
“Caro-” He started but stopped as soon as he saw her face. She had sat down on the bed her head hung sadly. “What’s wrong love?” He asked rushing to her side wrapping an arm around her shoulders.
She shrugged. “I-I was- nothing. You know what never mind.” She said standing up again and wiping the tears that were forming in her eyes.
“Caroline.” He stood in front of her grabbing her hands in his. “What is it? Tell me.”
She sighed looking down. “I-I missed you, and- and I was excited to see you since you’ve been out of town, and then you just…didn’t…care.” She pulled her hands from his and went for the door, feeling extremely uncomfortable with the vulnerability she was showing.
Before she could though he grabbed her arm and pulled her back. grabbing her chin and tilting her head so she was looking at him. “Of course I cared love. I wasn’t thinking, I’m sorry. I promise to make it up to you. Tomorrow night, I’ll come up with something perfect, for the perfect girl.”
She smiled up at him, and then laughed. “Maybe it’s the accent, but cheesy lines don’t sound as cheesy when they’re coming from you.” She laughed pressing her lips to his.
She opened her eyes looking around to see where she was, but it was too dark to see anything. Trying to stand up, she quickly realized the cuffs around her wrists. “Hello.” She called pulling at the chains holding her hands above her head.
“Finally, you’re awake.” Caroline heard the mocking tone call from not too far away. Suddenly the lights were on, hurting her eyes slightly. Looking up at him, she frowned. Somehow she had forgotten that this was Klaus, she wasn’t going to get a quick and easy death.
Again pulling at the chains, figuring she’d at least try to get away, even if there was no use. “Let me go!”
Klaus chuckled and stared at her. “I think you know by now, sweetheart, what happens to people who betray me.”
Sitting at the table she tapped her foot impatiently, waiting for her food. Not even taking notice of the music until she heard it. The person speak her name over the microphone, her face losing all color.
“This song is to Caroline from Nik.” The lead singer for the band she couldn’t remember the name of spoke through the speakers.
Have you ever thought about what protects our hearts?
Standing she went for the doors quickly as the song began playing, the lyrics putting her even more on edge. To anyone else it was an adorable song, but she got the message Klaus was trying to send. Of course she should have known he’d cover all his bases. She recognized the hybrids standing at the doors immediately.
So it’s fairly simple to cut right through the mess, and stop the muscle that makes us confess.
Caroline searched desperately for another way out, after what she had done to him, he would be furious. Even the Salvatore’s refused to forgive her for what she had done. Shuttering slightly at the thought of what had happened to her when she turned her emotions off, she shook the thoughts from her mind.
And we are just breakable, breakable, breakable girls and boys.
Looking at the other side of the building she saw an unguarded window and just as she was feeling hopeful the song ended, and he was in front of her.
Anonymous:Klaus breaks off a date (whatever reason u want) and Caroline gets angry, takes Klaus’s credit cards and go shop until she drops :)
“What? What exactly are these ‘more important matters?’” Caroline asked, glaring at herself in the mirror in front of her, not even paying attention to the fact that she was practically crushing the phone in her hand.
She had spent hours getting ready for this date, she had been ecstatic about it. He had been out of town for a while and now that he was back she couldn’t wait. Not that she would admit it to him.
“Calm down, sweetheart, it’s hybrid things. Go…buy yourself something pretty, I left my card on the table.” He said patronizingly, infuriating her more than he would ever know. She slammed the phone down on the counter in front of her, no need to hang up as the phone was destroyed on impact.
“Oh, I will buy myself something pretty alright.” She snarled

After hours of shopping, and buying every expensive thing that she liked even a little, she stumbled upon a cute little lingerie shop and smirked. She walked in picking out the most skimpy and ridiculous wear in the entire store.
“Maybe next time you’ll think before cancelling on me.” She said to herself.

Later that night…
Klaus was back sitting in bed with his sketch pad not even looking up as he heard the door open. “Caroline, when I said to buy yourself something, I didn’t mean empty my bank account.”
“Well, in my defense I thought they were all very much worth it, don’t you agree?” She said with a smug smirk as she stood on the other side of the bed.
He looked up planning to continue to argue with her but his eyes widened when he saw what she was wearing. “Yes, I agree very much so.” He said as his eyes raked over her body in some of the sexiest lingerie he’s ever seen, he dropped his sketch pad and pencil next to the bed as he moved to stand next to her placing his hands on her bare hips. “You look ravishing, love.”
She pressed one deep kiss to his lips, then quickly pulling back to Klaus’ disappointment. “Maybe next time you’ll think twice before ditching me.” She whispered, and then pulled away from him climbing into bed and clicking off the lamp next to her. “Good night, darling.” She said smugly as he just stared in stunned silence.
“So…” Caroline started.
Klaus sighed exasperatedly and continued to stare at the door. “This is ridiculous.”
“Well it’s not that ridiculous.” She said crossing her arms over her chest and looking away.
He gave the back of her head an incredulous look. “Are you really going to fight with me over whether this is ridiculous or not?”
She turned around then, to glare at him. “Yes I will, because you are being ridiculous! The only reason you think this is ridiculous is because you’re the ‘big bad wolf’ which apparently means you can’t talk about your feelings, or listen to anyone else.”
“I listened to you all the time! It’s not my fault you wouldn’t shut up!”
“Really? I wouldn’t shut up? What about you and your stupid hybrids. No more doppelgangers buddy! Get over it!”
“Of course you have never even tried to care about something that mattered to me!”
“Oh yeah, and you have always cared about the things I care about!” She screamed.
Rolling his eyes he scoffed. “Really you’re still upset about me not going to that stupid high school dance?”
“It’s not just a stupid high school dance! It was prom, the thing I have been looking forward to since I was ten years old!”
Klaus sighed, looking down at Caroline who was obviously fuming and ready to fight for hours to come. He didn’t want to fight anymore. Not that he would admit it, but he had missed Caroline and hated being apart.
Neither of them even remembered what they were fighting about.
Without warning Klaus moved his hands so that one was around her waist and the other in her hair pulling her lips to his.
Caroline tried to push him away for only a second before wrapping her arms around his neck kissing him back fiercely. Not that she would admit it, but she had missed Klaus and hated being apart.
“I’m sorry.” He mumbled against her lips.
“That’s a first.” Is all she said, and he smirked spinning her around so her back was pressed into the wall.
“You don’t have anything you want to say?” He asked, trailing kisses down her neck.
She grinned and closed her eyes. “Nope.”

Caroline narrowed her eyes in confusion as Klaus raised his head back up so his eyes could meet hers. Her instincts told her to go for his throat now, when he wasn’t expecting it. Then she realized, he was always expecting it. There was something threatening about his stance, even when he was just standing casually.
“What are you doing?” She asked with a shaky voice.
He smiled. “I always have a back-up.” He said calmly, then smirked. “I’m not going to kill you, yet.” Before she could even formulate a response in her mind he had snapped her neck.
He smirked over her unconscious form. “This is going to be fun.”
